This project was developed as part of a workshop in Textile Design and Storytelling. It was made with a client in mind and with the purpose of mainly to be for upholstery use. A main design was made along with two complimentary colourways. Inspiration came from the architecture of Luis Barragan, the colors of San Miguel de Allende in México, botanical drawings, and the paintings of Henri Matisse.

HOMELY NOMAD
This is a person that can be considered to have an eclectic style. Travels constantly and wants their home to be a reflection of their “constantly moving” lifestyle while still maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. They like to collect objects from wherever they go and they are not afraid of color, in fact, they embrace it.
Instead of being loyal to one brand, they furnish their home via their travels, flea market finds, and artist objects.
This is a person that takes pride in the individuality of the objects they possess.
